When people ask me what makes Hotel Flora special, I tell them that a holiday is built on the details. The ones you can't see on a screen, and only really understand once you arrive.

My name is Mara, and I'm the front desk manager here at Hotel Flora in Livigno. These days a lot of guests are planning their summer with us, many are taking advantage of our Book Early Summer offer, and almost all of them are curious to know what we do every day to make Flora a true Natural Detox retreat in the heart of Livigno.

What I usually tell them is that it comes down to three moments of the day: how it starts, how you spend it outside, how it ends. Three small gestures of care, woven into your stay.

A detox breakfast to start the day right

At Hotel Flora, breakfast is the first moment of wellbeing of the day. That's why we put real thought into our selection, varied, considered, and built around vegan and detox options.

Every morning you'll find homemade jams, fresh seasonal fruit, a generous spread of vegan pastries, and freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices that are as nourishing as they are good.

Starting the day light, but with all the energy you need to live it fully: this, too, is Natural Detox.

Bikes, backpacks, walking poles: moving at the right pace

In summer, Livigno invites you outside, to walk, to ride, to explore. But there's no single way to do it, and at Flora we want to help you find yours.

For those who want to take the valley slowly, we keep a fleet of city bikes available to guests, free of charge: classic, comfortable bicycles, made for easy rides. They're perfect for pedalling along the cycle path that runs right in front of the hotel, stopping for a photo, grabbing a coffee, and coming back whenever you feel like it.

For more serious cyclists looking for demanding routes or bike park descents, we work with a specialised local rental that offers mountain bikes, e-bikes and road bikes. And if you've brought your own bike, you're welcome to use our dedicated maintenance area in the garage.

We've also thought about those who prefer the trails. Trekking poles and hiking backpacks are available to borrow, free of charge, for the whole length of your stay, convenient if you'd rather not pack all your gear, or if you're discovering mountain walking for the first time.

The Spa, to close the day

And then you come back. Tired with that good kind of tiredness, the kind you only feel when you've lived a day to the fullest.

Our spa isn't an add-on: it's part of your stay.

Every guest has free access to the Wellness Area, indoor pool, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, relaxation room, every day, no booking required, no extra charge.

And after 7:30 pm, the spa becomes private on request, just for the two of you.

This summer, we've also added something we care deeply about: the chance to book yoga classes, guided meditation and relaxation sessions with Ludovica, a wellness practitioner working with us throughout the season.

What ties it all together

A breakfast that gives you the right energy, the advice, support and gear to move the way you like, a spa that's waiting for you at the end of the day. Three different gestures, all guided by the same principle: take worries away, don't add new ones.

And there's one more small plus that closes the circle.

Under the hotel, we have a covered, private car park: you arrive, you park, and from then on, your car stays where it is. For the rest of your stay, you can move around on foot or by bike, right in the centre of Livigno. It's convenient and it's also a quiet green choice: fewer journeys, fewer emissions, more time to simply enjoy being here.
